Role Essentials 

•  To ensure that all children attending the setting receive high quality care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs. 

•  To meet requirements of regulatory bodies with relation to EYFS matters, special education needs and disability, child protection, Health and Safety and to ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to. 

•  To lead the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Personal Specification

  • Level 2/3 Qualification in Early years and Education.
  •  Have a passion for working with children. Have a real desire to achieve an outstanding Ofsted rating.

  • Willingness to undertake training and development.

Senior Practitioner (Pre-School) - Brockley Branch

Are seeking a highly passionate Senior Practitioner  to lead our toddler room in our Brockley branch.

Role Essentials:

•  To assist the manager in managing the provision of the nursery ensuring that children, parents and the staff team work together effectively to provide high quality care and education.

•  To assume overall responsibility for raising the quality of early years provision, including physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care for children in the setting

•  To promote excellent practice at all times

•  To lead practice across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

•  To support and mentor other practitioners in the skills and behaviours that safeguard and promote outstanding outcomes for children.

•  To act up as Third in Charge in the absence of both the Deputy and Nursery Manager.

Personal Specification of Candidates:

·  Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early years and Education or above.

·  Excellent communication, organisational skills and interpersonal skills.

·  Minimum of 3 years occupational experience in a nursery setting and a minimum 1 year’s experience in a leadership role.

·  An ambitious dedication to deliver outstanding childcare and education. 

·  A ‘hands on’ and ‘can do’ attitude. 

Full time role 40hrs per week.
